After impatiently sending Wyatt to OooFilm, an alternate reality of silent film, Prismo brings Fionna, Cake, and Simon to the Time Room. Prismo reveals that without authorization, he created Fionna's world and put it into Ice King's mind as disguise; after Ice King turned back to Simon again, the universe lost magic as well. With Fionna and Cake's arrival in Ooo, Prismo is put on the radar of the inspector Scarab, who wishes to catch and kill Fionna and Cake to usurp Prismo's role. However, Fionna, Cake, and Simon use Prismo's remote to escape Scarab, landing them in a farmland world. Simon suggests to the pair that the solution to their problems is for him to become Ice King again.
