A young bespectacled girl named Orinoko spends her days scavenging the local mountains for scrap metal for her bladesmith father. During her one of her searches, she comes across a lady who is trying to reassemble a Vespa with scrap parts. As the destruction of Okura City begins, she soon finds herself fleeing with her friends, Shinpachi and Shonari, before their connection to the mysterious woman is finally revealed.
